This space has now been acquired as my section of the internet, to not only share my style, but also to write about style.
I have a passion for writing as well as about individual style vs following a fashion trend- and hopefully I can express my passions through image, clothing edits and writing to you all. This space, 'theSartorialEdit' already means so much to me, as so much behind the scenes work has begun, in order to create the most user-author friendly space possible.
I want this to not only be a space for you to come if you are lacking in inspiration, on those inevitable days when you have a full wardrobe with nothing to wear, but also if you are needing a push. A push to not wear things just because other people are, a push to make mistakes (we all do it) and be bold, or daring, because pushing your boundaries and finding your comfort zone is crucial when it comes to identifying your own style.
Which brings me to my next point, I will be talking a lot about 'finding your style', because despite what some other people may think, I believe it is a really scary and overwhelming time, and I don't think it needs to be.
I draw my inspiration from everywhere- the streets, magazines, friends, nature, music, movies, absolutely anywhere, so this space will document some of my personal favourite street style or celebrity style looks which have given me inspiration, to somewhat help you on your journey.
I'm a firm advocate of dressing for you, not for anyone else; as well as dressing to your own style regardless as to what fashion trends are circulating in the media.
